Bringing Young Detectives to Life
Hi, I'm DC Spaar — children's book author and creator of the Logan Scott Files series. I write mystery and detective stories designed to get kids ages 7–11 excited about reading, thinking critically, and solving problems.
My books follow young detective Logan Scott (and later his partner Emily) as they tackle real kid-sized mysteries — missing classmates, wandering wildflowers, disappearing doodles, and perplexing predicaments. Every story is packed with clues, humor, and heart.
I believe every child has an inner detective just waiting to be unlocked. My goal is to write books that kids can't put down — and that parents are happy to read aloud again and again.
